Gordon Burns (born 2 December 1978) is a Scottish former professional footballer who is currently manager of Troon in the Scottish Junior Football Association, West Region. He has previously played in the Scottish Football League First Division for Ayr United.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://partickthistleahistory.wikifoundry.com/page/BURNS,+Gordon+1998-99 )〕 ==Career== "Burnsie" began his professional career with Ayr United and made 28 league appearances for the club before his release by manager Gordon Dalziel in June 2001. He then joined Queen of the South where he spent a frustrating season before a move to Peterhead in the summer of 2002 proved more successful, with the club only missing out on their maiden title and promotion on the final day of the season with a 1–0 defeat away to Greenock Morton at a packed Cappielow after four sides went into the final day chasing the title. After the travelling from Ayrshire to Peterhead on matchdays took its toll, Burns rejected a new contract with the Balmoor outfit in favour of moving to the Junior level with Kilwinning Rangers in 2004 before missing a couple of seasons out of the game through work demands. Burns signed for his home-town team Troon in June 2007. Signed by his former Kilwinning coach Jim Dempsey, it wasn't long before Burnsie was named Club Captain as he enjoyed some of the best years of his career at Portland Park. A serious back injury forced an early retirement from playing at the age of 31, although Manager John Redmond was keen to utilise Burns's knowledge in a coaching capacity. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Gordon Burns (footballer)」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
